Health Care Assistant

The Manor Practice

We are currently looking for an experienced GP Practice Health Care Assistant to work 24 hours per week across both our sites which are The Manor Practice at James Preston Health Centre, 61 Holland Road. B72 1RL & The Manor Practice at Ashfurlong Medical Centre, 233 Tamworth Road. B75 6DX.

This is a permanent position within a vibrant, fast paced GP surgery in Sutton Coldfield.

You must be competent in the following skill sets:

• Phlebotomy
• Assisting in Minor Surgeries
• Patient Health Checks
• Respiratory Checks
• Blood Sugar Testing
• Wound Care
• ECG’s
• Urine Analysis
• Cardiovascular Checks

Desirable Criteria :

• Emis Web Trained

Additional Skills and Experience:

• GP Surgery Experience
• NVQ Level 3
• Wound Management
• Excellent Communication Skills

Required Experience:

• GP Practice HCA : 1 year

You will be working alongside our team of GP’s, Advanced Nurse Practitioner, Practice Nurses, HCA’s and Practice Staff to deliver an exceptional standard of care.
