The role of Waste Water Operator involves the operation and maintenance of conventional sewage treatment plants and pumping stations to meet quality standards. You will also be involved in running advanced waste water treatment and sludge process plants.
You will need GCSE’s (or equivalent) in English, Maths and a technical subject. Experience of working unsupervised in an industrial or process plant is also essential. Electrical or mechanical experience would be desirable.
You will need to be flexible, working hours include weekends and you may be required to perform standby duties on a regular basis. Confined spaces training will be provided. A valid driving licence is essential for this role ideally with category BE.
