Our client has opportunities for 2 Day Chemists to work with the Technical team on the delivery of new projects at their site in Middlesbrough.

Within this position you will carry out process research and / or development activities on projects, as well as providing support to the team to deliver improvements to yield, quality and throughput.

You will demonstrate process routes in the laboratory and conduct remedial experimentation to support plant activities. You will provide direct technical guidance to ensure product quality and ensure all HSE requirements are met and adhered to. Ideally with project management experience, you will confidently liaise with both internal and external stakeholders on project requirements.

You will hold a Chemistry degree or equivalent and will ideally have gained experience as a chemist in a fine chemical industry position. With an understanding of chemical / batch manufacturing systems, you will be accustomed to planning and coordinating the workload. In addition to being computer literate, you will be competent in a range of analytical methods and will think creatively, applying new and innovative techniques that will benefit the company.
