The Company: Our client are specialist distributors of electrical components such as automotive relays, rocker switches, circuit breakers, vehicle lighting, microswitches, inductive sensors, Atex limit switches, safety interlock switches, fans and industrial relays. They sell to a wide range of industries such as specialist vehicle manufacturers, machinery manufacturers, factories and wholesalers.
A vacancy has arisen for a Sales Engineer to join the team based in Todmorden, close to Rochdale.
The Role: As a Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for visiting potential and existing customers to generate new business. Customers are located throughout the whole of the UK and you would be expected to cover the whole country staying away overnight from time to time. The customer base is focused on the north so candidates based for the office in Todmorden or from their home in the North West, Yorkshire, or Midlands would be ideally placed.
Key Roles & Responsibilities:
The Candidate: Whilst product training will be given for the Sales Engineer role, candidates must have a good general knowledge of electrical components, preferably with a qualification in electronics or electrical engineering. Prior experience in a technical sales or business development role would be an advantage.
