Apprenticeship Assessor – Construction Plant Maintenance ASKA64450

Our client is a large, and growing, specialist land-based College, with centres throughout Yorkshire, Cumbria and the Tees Valley.

They now have an opportunity available for an Apprenticeship Assessor to join them to liaise with employers to conduct timely progress reviews for Apprentices and provide pastoral support to ensure timely achievement of the Construction Plant Maintenance apprenticeship.

Dealing with Apprenticeship enquiries and applications from learners, employers and referral agencies, you will assist the Apprenticeship Course Manager to interview and complete the initial assessment for prospective apprentices and support learners in finding suitable employment to undertake an apprenticeship. 

Monitoring, reviewing and assessing an appropriate caseload of Apprentices on programme in accordance with College procedures and programme requirements, you must train and support learners in the workplace and ensure that all designated records/evidence are in place and maintained/ updated to comply with funding and qualification requirements.

Qualified to Level 3 or equivalent in Construction Plant Maintenance or other relevant subjects, candidates must have experience of working within the Construction Plant Maintenance industry and hold an assessor qualification (D32/D33 or A1 or TAQA Level 3) or be willing to work towards this. 

Due to the nature of the role, you must be willing to travel to employer premises as required.
