The Company

Caltherm are a world-class designer and manufacturer of industrial ovens, furnaces, dryers, coolers and associated equipment.

We supply a range of industrial equipment for thermal processing applications. Industrial ovens, with recirculation air, up to 650°C and industrial furnaces, with multi-zone control, up to 1300°C.

Customers supplied include many of the most prestigious names in the aerospace and automotive industries, electrical and engineering, composite, rubber and plastics manufacturers, glass and pharmaceutical firms.

Reason for Vacancy

Our Company Secretary/Finance Director is retiring after 40 dedicated years of service.

We are looking for accountancy experience in an industrial background with a working knowledge of financially running a manufacturing operation.

The Job Requirements

We operate a bespoke Pegasus Opera 3 integrated Accounts/Payroll package.

This package encompasses; purchase ledger, sales ledger, invoicing, credit control, VAT returns, job costing, pensions, administration, weekly and monthly payrolls and numerous other functions associated with the financial administration of a successful Engineering Company.

A knowledge of Pegasus Opera 3 is an essential pre-requisite for this job.

The Rewards

Salary will not be an issue for the right applicant.

Full time, permanent employment, 40 hours per week using flexi time.

25 days holiday and 8 bank holidays per annum, increasing with length of service.

Company personal pension scheme.

Initial Prospects

Sufficient training would be given as an initial introduction into our bespoke financial system.

The day to day operations would be self-determined and prioritised to suit weekly/monthly targets.


Future Prospects

Complete control of company finances, involving cash flow forecasting, monthly profit and loss accounts, credit control and advising Directors on financial matters.

As experience accrues so would the financial benefits and the employment package would be enhanced.
