Senior HR Officer

Permanent, GBP40,000 - GBP45,000
Our client, a professional services organisation is looking for a Senior HR Officer to join their team on a permanent basis. This is a true generalist role, you will be responsible for advice and support on all operational matters including recruitment, employment legislation, performance management and implementation of policies. You will be leading / contributing on projects, including change management and restructuring initiatives. Managing a team of 2, you must have experience of leading, managing and developing a team.
You will be responsible for, but not limited to:
• Providing generalist HR advice and guidance on a range of different issues including; ER cases, performance management, employment legislation and recruitment.
• Managing, motivating and developing the more junior members within the HR team.
• Conducting regular 1-2-1s with the junior members of the HR team, ensuring that development plans are in place as well as performance reviews.
• Taking ownership for a large caseloads of ER issues.
• Leading any HR projects that present themselves.
• Leading on any change management or restructure initiatives within the business.
Requirements
• CIPD Qualification.
• Have a strong HR Generalist background.
• Strong understanding of employment law and legislation.
• Experience operating in a fast paced, high volume environment.
• Proven ability to lead and manage a team.
• Experience working in a customer focused, commercially driven environment
• Strong stakeholder management skills
