Civil Engineer

An award winning, civil and structural engineering consultancy are looking for a Civil Engineer who has experience in Roads & Highways to join their East Midlands office.
You will become a key member of the organisation, working with the design team on upcoming major projects within the company.
Requirements are:
* BEng or MEng in Civil Engineering
* Chartered or working towards Chartered status
* Experience using Microdrainage and Autocad Civil 3D software's
* Minimum of 3 years experience working on roads and drainage design
* An ability to work under your own instruction, using your own initiative
* An ability to present precise technical reports
Responsibilities of the role:
* Prepare and check designs and drawings
* Coordinate with design teams both internal and contractors
* Work with the design team to tight deadlines, producing accurate and precise work
The ideal candidate will be both confident in their ability and competent, have excellent communication skills both written and verbal, this will allow you to liaise with clients both face to face and through correspondents.
