We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Groundworker to join our team based in Exeter.
Within the role, you will be responsible for general setting out, organising (materials and plant) and completion of small works schemes between £25 up to £5,000.
Taking information from job outline tickets, you will prepare the ground to be flagged alongside laying flagging, edging and kerb stones. Laying flags including cementing and mortaring, you will work to line and levels, ensuring fall on flags whilst cutting flags using hand and machine tools.
In order to be successful in this role, you will have knowledge and experience of concreting (paths and steps/patio areas etc), bricklaying (walls/re-pointing/steps), fencing (timber - feather edge / panels / hit & miss, chainlink, metal handrails) and also disabled access works.
With previous experience of working in the Building Construction/Maintenance industry, you will be qualified to City and Guilds, NVQ Level 3 or equivalent. Experience within social housing is also important.
Candidates must hold a full UK driving licence
