GRADUATE SPORTS ASSISTANTS

One-year fixed term contract

Required from September 2018

We are seeking individuals to coach girls' sport at all levels from Year 4 to Upper Sixth. There will be an expectation for you to coach three terms of sport including Hockey, Netball and Tennis, and to actively contribute to the wider games programme.

You will be involved in coaching sport at Wells six days per week, including Saturdays, during term time. This will include a busy timetable within the Physical Education and Sports department working with specialist PE teachers and games coaches, along with duties supporting the wider needs of a boarding school environment.

To be successful, you will have a passion for sport and young people, whilst looking to gain relevant experience before embarking on a formal teaching qualification. This role would suit a newly qualified teacher looking to gain experience in a thriving independent boarding school. The school offers a competitive sports programme, very popular with our pupils in this unique co-educational day and boarding school in the heart of the West Country.
