Work with York have a rare opportunity for a dynamic, personable Credit Controller to join an industry-leading company within their Credit Control team.

You will play a key role in minimising debts, including daily collections and producing reminder letters. You will set up and maintain sales ledgers, process invoice queries, and create customer credit notes. As part of this role, you will manage credit limits, recommending changes when required, as well as allocating receipts to various ledgers daily and issuing sales ledger statements.

In order to be successful in this role, you must be enthusiastic and motivated with a keen eye for detail and exceptional organisation skills. Although fitting in to this friendly environment will not be an issue, you must be willing to work as a team to create successful outcomes in a busy, sometimes challenging, environment. Acknowledging when to use your own initiative is vital, as is an adaptable approach and excellent communication skills on all levels.

Essential Criteria:

• Experience of Sage 200 (or similar)

• Knowledge of Sales and Purchase Ledger

• Strong IT Skills

• AAT (or similar)

• Able to analyse systems to suggest improvements
