We are one of the largest Further Education Colleges in the UK with more than 20,000 learners studying with us on a wide range of courses. Our mission is to equip people with the skills they need to be successful in education, in work and business and in their personal lives.

Due to continued growth across our programmes an opportunity has arisen to appoint two Lecturers to join our ambitious team who are passionate about developing and delivering the highest quality provision in the Plumbing and Gas section.

The successful applicant will teach across a range of full time, part time and apprenticeship programmes to learners typically studying Level 1 to Level 3. The appointed person may also deliver across full-cost and commercial based programmes of study dependant on industrial and prior teaching experience.

A minimum Level 2 qualification in maths and English (GCSE Grade C or above, GCSE Grade 4 or above or equivalent) is essential along with a Level 3 trade qualification in a relevant subject. A recognised teaching qualification is also essential, however support is available for exceptional candidates yet to achieve qualified teacher status.

The Plumbing and Gas workshop facilities have benefitted from an injection of capital investment including renewable technologies and offers a modern well equipped environment in which to learn and work.

If you share our passion to develop individuals and provide the highest quality learning experiences we would welcome your application.
