WINDOWS SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR / SOLIHULL / COMPETITIVE SALARY

Due to rapid growth, they now have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic Windows Systems Administrator to join them.

The Windows System Administrator will work as part of a Technical Operations team, supporting the Technical Operations Manager in the efficient running of the sales-i Microsoft Windows estate.

Key Responsibilities of the Systems Administrator:

  • Install, configure and manage all Windows based systems, including Office and Production
  • Standardise builds across and script such builds to improve efficiency
  • Act as an advisor to the CTO and Tech Ops Manager about new technologies, platforms and software
  • Work with DevOps engineers in building and support a Continuous Delivery Pipeline
  • Work with DevOps to enable 3rd party toolsets as required to support the business

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Either MSCE or MCITP in relevant areas
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience building and managing Microsoft Server based environments
  • ITIL Foundation
  • Microsoft Server, Sharepoint Admin, SCCM, MDM and DLP tools including Powershell Scripting
  • Windows 10 Desktop, Office 365 management
  • Working knowledge on VMWare vSphere suite
  • Some MS SQL DBA skills would be an advantage
