30 hours per week / 35 weeks per year (0.5757 of the FTE)

Salary: Circa £20,000 per annum pro rata

Start Date: September 2018

Based at The Bedford Sixth Form, we require a Work Placement Coordinator to ensure high quality placement provision is provided to students studying at The Bedford Sixth Form, you will need to fully comply with health and safety procurement standards according to relevant FE funding agencies. You will need to meet with groups of students to inform of placement requirement and pre placement training, you will also be required to work closely with the teaching team to generate high quality work placement opportunities.

To be shortlisted for this vacancy you will meet the essential criteria which includes; English and Maths or similar at GCSE grade A-C or equivalent, willingness to work towards health and safety in the work place qualifications and Knowledge of Health and Safety at Work Act and HSE standards. You should have previous experience of handling enquiries and contacting employers and external agencies.
