Are you a strong administrator who has customers at the forefront of your mind? If so, then our client would love to hear from you!

Do you want to work for a global professional membership organisation where you will be able to see the tangible impact of your work on the world they all live in? If so, this could be the organisation for you. Our client is at the heart of a management career in construction.

They are the world's largest and most influential professional body for construction management and leadership, and their members work worldwide in the development, conservation and improvement of the built environment. Perhaps most importantly, they are tasked with promoting good practice within their industry to improve quality of life for every one of us.

This is an exciting opportunity to join their highly successful Education team, where you will be responsible for processing membership upgrade applications and queries, while providing a professional guidance and support service to their applicants and existing members.

It will be your responsibility to ensure all applications for membership upgrades are processed in line with their agreed process and targets.  You will be liaising with their team of assessors, verifiers and panel members, all of whom are CIOB Members of Fellows themselves, to ensure the smooth running of the process. You will co-ordinate all arrangements for upgrade interviews, will administer the moderation process and ensure that high standards are maintained throughout.  You will also get involved in promoting the upgrade process at events and workshops, which will give you a fantastic opportunity to interact with their Members.

Experience within a membership environment is not essential however they do ask that you are highly organised, have excellent communication skills and have a strong customer focus along with experience in an administrative environment. Confident and well-mannered, you will be comfortable dealing with members and potential members at varying levels of seniority and will be able to work well as part of a team.

It goes without saying that you will need to demonstrate excellent attention to detail and a high level of diligence, giving you the ability to analyse written reports and applications, however they also need you to be able to deal independently with a number of competing priorities and make sound and well-rounded decisions.  They also ask that you have strong IT skills, including all Microsoft Office applications and experience of working with a CRM or other database.

No two days will be the same in this exciting position, so if you thrive in an ever changing environment and love to get your teeth into a real challenge then this could be the role for you!

In return, they can offer you a fantastic range of benefits which include an excellent private medical insurance scheme and contributions to a group personal pension plan. They are also extremely proud to hold a Silver Investors in People award which demonstrates their commitment to your ongoing development.

Please note that we may consider applications as they are submitted and therefore applicants are encouraged to apply as soon as possible to avoid any disappointment that may be caused by the vacancy closing sooner than advertised.
