Pertemps Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Housing Administrator to work with a public sector client based in the Paisley area.
This role is expected to last for around 3 months, but may be extended. Hours of work are Monday to Friday, and you will be working 37 hours per week. Rate of pay is GBP11.75 per hour,
Duties/Responsibilities include;
- Dealing with all requests and enquiries in an efficient and courteous manner
- Assessing and responding to customer telephone call relating to service enquiries and service requests, trying to resolve these requests to completion through providing access to a range of entitlements and services.
- Providing a complete and comprehensive customer service by pro-actively linking a customer enquiry to other relevant services and information that would benefit the customer
- Accessing and utilising a range of Client IT systems.
- Recognising and identifying service issues that require escalation and contributing ideas, suggestions and feedback to support the effectiveness of the service
- Maintaining an up to date and comprehensive knowledge of the services provided by the client, to ensure that customers are supplied with relevant information in an efficient effective and sensitive manner
- Complying with relevant legislation including the Data Protection Act (1998) and Freedom of Information Act 2002
Skills/Experience Required
- Customer Service experience
- Previous experience within the housing sector
- Up to date knowledge on Housing Benefit/Council tax reduction
- Knowledge of relevant IT systems including I Word and Northgate
