Fleet Maintenance Controller

My client is looking for qualified HGV Maintenance Technicians or vehicle technicians looking for a change away from the tools?
My client has a position available, within a market leading company, for someone of your quality to coordinate fleet maintenance activities for a variety of clients with activities including fault diagnosis, spares procurement and rectification to comply with client specifications.
Key duties will include -
- Repair Analysis
- Establishing repair cost for labour and materials
- Seeing what warranty options are available
- Managing vehicle breakdowns
- Liaising with dealerships
The successful candidate will be qualified to City and Guilds standard (level 2 or 3) or equivalent in a mechanical discipline with additional qualifications in HGV Vehicle maintenance. Previous experience in a fleet repairs workshop environment or fleet management would be highly advantageous.
You will need to be IT literate with strong numeracy and literacy skills combined with superb communication skills and an analytical approach to technical problem solving and planning.
My client is also open to candidates who may only have experience of working on light vehicles or vans, so please also apply if you have this experience.
