Junior Marketing & Events Sales Assistant: Immediate Start

Source Marketing Direct in the Waterloo/ South Bank area of London is diversifying their client portfolio and preparing to expand into additional markets in 2018. We're looking to fill several entry-level openings that combine Marketing, Sales, Customer Service, Team Leadership and potentially Trainee Management.

Who We Are and What We Do:

We're an Event Marketing Company with a well-established reputation that's been built in only 9 years here in London; we've recently been nominated as Southwark's Employer of the year. We help our clients increase their Market Share and Brand Awareness through Events and In-Store Promotions. We provide representation 7 days a week at events and venues across the Greater London Area and need to provide 2-6 people for each location, so we have multiple openings available!

Training, Support and Ongoing Guidance | No Experience Necessary

It's in our best interest to help you succeed from day one because your individual results contribute to the overall results we provide for our clients. The better the results, the more of their new customer acquisition budget we receive, and the more locations we can open to provide an opportunity for our people! Therefore, this isn't a cut-throat sales role. We offer in-house and on-site training, guidance and access to mentors and networking contacts from across the globe.

Growth, Travel, Recognition and Significant Earnings Available

We believe in rewarding and recognising our top people since they contribute significantly to the success of the company as a whole. Not only will you enhance or learn transferable business skills, but you may also have the chance to assume a team leadership role where you'll be helping to recruit, lead and develop others.

You'll be able to qualify for industry awards and public recognition as well as work and leisure travel opportunities throughout the UK, Europe and the USA! As long as you surround yourself with the right people, apply proven sales techniques, and work hard, you won't fail in this commission only role. In fact, most people are earning above their previous wages within 6 weeks! Those that stick with us long-term are able to earn well above the national average within 2-5 years.

Recommendations and Requirements:

We recommend all applicants have 1+ year of customer-oriented experiences such as retail sales, customer service, hospitality or similar, but we will consider all levels of education and experience.

We want to hear from you as long as:

  • You're at least 18 years of age since you'll be signing binding documents
  • You're willing to work hard and expand your comfort zones as you learn
  • You're comfortable working independently and as part of a team
  • You have a positive outlook and are able to take accountability

Don't worry if you feel you lack skills or qualifications to stand out in a competitive job market; we want to hear from you as long as you're eager and determined!

Our Application and Selection Process:

To learn more about us and our available self employed openings, please send your CV and optional covering letter to Linzi. We recommend double checking your email address and phone number before sending, so we can contact you. We also advise checking your email spam folder and voice mail because we'd hate for you to miss a message from us!

Successful candidates will be screened over the phone before being invited to attend a brief face-to-face interview with a member of our management team in our office on Stamford Street. Those that stand out will be invited back for a full day at one of our events. You'll meet some of the team and have the chance to learn more about us as we learn more about you. By the end of the day, we'll look to make a mutual final decision.

Related Industries, Education and Experience:

We encourage anyone looking for full time work in Central London to apply, but people with experience or an interest in the following will be the best fit: marketing, sales, customer service, graduate, university, degree, trainee, business, communication, leadership, management, sport, fitness, retail, call centre, catering, hospitality, waiting, bar work, restaurant, hotel, hostess, or other customer-oriented roles.
