Are you an HR Professional from a manufacturing background who is looking for a new challenge? We have an exciting opportunity for an HR Advisor to join a leading global manufacturer based on the outskirts of Newcastle upon Tyne. Salary GBP28-30k with comprehensive benefits package working 8.30-5 Monday to Friday.
As HR Advisor you will be working as part of a team of 6 in HR delivering a progressive advisory and support service to the company on all HR issues. You will support managers with employees relations including disciplinaries, grievances, flexible working requests, family leave etc, monitor absence trends, provide recruitment support attending careers events and maintaining an orderly admin system (SAP) with particular emphasis on data protection compliance.
An area of significance in this role will be to assist with the sponsorship for candidates outside EEA countries so your experience within this would be crucial to make an immediate impact in the role.
It is essential you have previous experience in an HR Advisor level role, with a background in manufacturing or engineering environment (approx 650 employees onsite). You will be CIPD Level 7 or equivalent with CIPD membership (Associate or Chartered). Excellent IT skills are required including all MS Office and SAP ideally. Proven examples of attention to detail and accuracy are important with up to date legislative knowledge.
