HR Business Partner - Maternity Cover
Harrogate
Up to GBP35k plus car allowance
Ben Johnson are partnering a leading Harrogate based employer looking for an interim HR Advisor to join their dedicated HR function covering maternity leave on a 6 -9 months contract assignment. The business operates in the UK and across Europe and has been going from strength to strength following a recent acquisition.
Reporting into the HR Manager, you will be tasked with providing advice and support to the business on all day to day issues ensuring that the HR function continue to provide best practice support to employees.
Working with the operational managers in the business your responsibilities will include providing advice and guidance on the following:
* Employee relations issues (grievance, disciplinaries and performance management
* Assisting the HR Manager with ongoing change management projects including re-structuring, creating new roles and dealing with employee integration post TUPE
* Oversee all recruitment activity for the business including role definition, advertising and marketing initiatives and subsequent onboarding
* Provide employment law advice and guidance to line managers
We are looking for a CIPD qualified individual with a proven track record at HR Adviser level who is comfortable HR partnering at all levels. You will be used to providing commercially astute HR advice and will be looking for an opportunity where you can add value to the HR function and wider business. There is potential opportunity for the right individual to go permanent as the business are looking to grow their HR function over the coming months.
