Highway Technician

We are looking for a Design Technician to join our highways design team in Huntingdon, Cambridge.

We require a Technician to support the highway engineering design team based in our Huntingdon office. Reporting to a Team Leader, you will play an important role in the delivery of a wide variety of highway schemes from assisting with the design of major bypass and link road schemes through to junction improvements, cycleway and traffic calming schemes.

We're Looking for:

• Minimum 5 Grade A-C GCSE (or equivalent) including English, Maths and a science subject
  
• HNC / HND (or equivalent) in civil engineering or related discipline
• Experience in a civil engineering environment ideally in a highways related field
• Preferably knowledge of highway design packages such as AutoCAD 3D Civils/MX
  
• Experience of preparation of design elements for civil engineering projects
