A privately owned hotel based along Eastbourne Seafront are seeking a Maintenance Manager to join their team.
Overview:
You will be expected to run the maintenance department efficiently, ensuring all tasks are completed to a high standard in accordance with health and safety. You will have overall responsibility for the upkeep of the hotel and the grounds.
Responsibilities:
• Develop maintenance procedures and ensure implementation
• Carry out inspections of utilities, and action problems found
• Allocate works and supervise all works
• Monitor stock levels and place orders where necessary
• Monitor expenses and control the maintenance budget
• Manage relationships with contractors and service providers
• Keep a maintenance log and report on daily activities
• Ensure health and safety policies are complied with
