Support Worker 30hrs
I am actively seeking a forward thinking, motivated and person centred PART TIME SUPPORT WORKER to join a state of the art Supported Living service for adults with learning disabilities and behaviours which may prove challenging, based in the Birmingham area.
You will join an organisation that has a handful of small, well established services that have a great reputation for providing person centred care and support and making a difference to the people who live here.
Employed on a full time basis - You will be PROACTIVE, SUPPORTIVE and FORWARD THINKING. A real "can do" attitude is essential to be successful in this role. Be prepared to hit the ground running! You will split your time between working on the floor and delivering person centred care.
You will effectively assist to lead a team of staff and will ensure that all care delivered is in line with CQC and company guidelines. Your priority will be to ensure that the people you support lead a full, independent and healthy lifestyle that promotes independence, choice, dignity and respect.

To be considered for this exciting role, you will ideally have at least a QCF/NVQ level 2 in health and social care as a minimum and have practical manual handling/hoist training and have significant experience supporting clients with a learning disabilities diagnosis, ideally in a supported living setting and be confident in delivery of personal care.
In return for your excellent shift leading skills and learning disabilities knowledge, you will receive a salary of £7 p/hour with the option of overtime. Shift patterns are full shifts at 08:00-20:00. This is a part-time 30hrs per week role.
Minimal notice period is ideal as this role has an ASAP start date with interviews being held from next week!
