Proposals Manager - Warrington.

We are looking for an enthusiastic proposals manager to join our successful team winning work for BAM Nuttall, one of the UK's major infrastructure contractors.

We are a dynamic and creative team, always looking for better ways of working to keep ahead in a very competitive environment. We love the variety and challenge of different bids and we work with our bid teams across the UK.

The role requires you to manage people working on demanding bids with challenging deadlines. You will act as a trusted advisor, bringing best practice from across the business and providing a consistent approach across multiple bids.

On each tender you will lead teams, motivating and supporting people to produce winning, customer focussed proposals. You will plan and facilitate meetings and workshops to develop win themes and content for responses. You will need to be confident in managing the entire proposal process from planning to writing, reviewing and producing the final documents.

You must be happy to travel and be flexible in your approach. In return we are open to different work patterns to balance personal needs with tender demands.

As proposals professionals, we are aligned with APMP and encourage membership and pursuit of accreditation. We have a continually evolving training programme, covering both work winning and understanding our engineering business.

You must be able to write clear, correct English - we can't teach this!

Ability to lead proposals teams and proven experience of planning, producing and delivering compliant proposals.

Experience equivalent to the requirements of APMP Certificate level.

An understanding of civil engineering would be an advantage but not essential.
