We have an exciting opportunity for a Programme Leader to join a successful and friendly Faculty of Art & Design. Successful applicants are likely to have had experience of working with a range of learners with varied educational backgrounds, and must be committed to outstanding teaching and learning.

We are looking for an exceptional candidate with a proven track record of teaching Fine Art at post 16 level. Our Fine Art department encompasses A levels, International Baccalaureate, Extended Diploma, Foundation Diploma and Foundation Degree; the ideal candidate should be confident at delivering across this breadth. Knowledge of the IB an advantage.

Some experience of leading a curriculum team an advantage. The ideal candidate will be able to teach a broad range of practical skills, from ceramics and screen printing to illustrative drawing and expressive painting. An up to date knowledge of the wider art world and its themes and practices is essential.  

We have a large and growing photographic department and are looking for someone with experience and enthusiasm in this field.
