Field Service and Installation Engineers Essex, Manchester and Bristol
To cGBP30k + overtime + van + benefits
Our client has been established for more than 30 years and specialise in the design, manufacture and installation of barriers, turnstiles and gates for a diverse range of client applications across the country. As a result of continued success and an ongoing programme of strategic growth, they are now seeking to recruit a number of self motivated multi skilled field service and installation engineers to complement their established and successful teams in and around Chelmsford, Essex as well as Bristol and Manchester.
Working on a 49hr week basis (with a 1 in 6 weekend out of hours call out rota in place) within the installation service and repair division, you will be tasked with assisting in the maintenance of a range of key accounts and government agencies on various items including gates, Barriers, Turnstiles and Rising Kerbs. To be considered for these varied and challenging field service and installation engineers roles, you will:
* be able to diagnose faults and complete repairs, replacing components as required
* have good experience in a similar role installing, maintaining & repairing automatic barriers and gates.
* have good electrical knowledge and a "right first time" approach to repairs
* ensure projects are delivered on time and on budget.
* have a good understanding of associated construction trades and be able to adapt engineering designs when required.
* be self-motivated and have a drive to succeed and will be trustworthy and conscientious with proven experience of being able to work alone with minimal supervision.
* have proven experience of delivering excellence in customer service and will be able to show your ability to both maintain successful relationships with existing customers as well as being able to develop relationships with potential customers.
It is envisaged that successful field service and installation engineers will hold a full driving licence and realistically hold the following qualifications:
* NVQ level 2
* CSCS Card
* IPAF
* SSSTS
* BS7036
* 17th edition
* Familiarity of electrical control equipment e.g. access controls, safety devices, single and three phase motor units.
