Our client is one of UK’s leading luggage companies with a reputation for innovation. They are based in Hertford and have offices in USA, Europe, Australia and China and their business is growing rapidly. As a result, they need to expand their IT team to meet the demands of their customers and staff.

They are looking for an enthusiastic and hands-on Software Developer and Technician who can turn their hand to all sorts of IT areas. The IT in the business is currently very manual and so they are looking for a candidate who can take on the following:

• EDI integration with retail customers, including set-up and testing
• Generic software development for various ad-hoc tasks as well as some occasional larger projects
• Creative solutions for report processing reports and improving report generation from NAV
• Bespoke software development to automate manual processes
• Creation of strategic proposals to improve processes across the business

Ideally, you will have the following:

• Fluency in programming languages, including C#
• Experience and knowledge in creating bespoke software programmes
• Experience and knowledge with Jet Reporting
• Experience and knowledge integrating new software into a business
• Experience and knowledge in MS Dynamics NAV 2009 advantageous
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to travel to global offices if required
