Our client is a registered charity dedicated to the provision of hospice care for children with life-limiting conditions and their families from the South West.

Position: Senior PR & Social Media Officer
Location: Little Bridge House, Barnstaple (Commutable from Lynton, Chumleigh, Hartland, Bideford and surrounding areas)
Job Type: Full Time, Permanent
Hours: 37 hours per week
Salary: GBP24,187 to GBP28,449 per annum

About the role:

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a vibrant and creative environment within their Marketing and Communications team. You will help develop a proactive media and social media strategy; manage a team of Media Officers across their three hospice sites; manage social media platforms and campaigns; and provide leadership and guidance in implementing creative and engaging PR plans to support fundraising.

About You:

To be considered for this role Team management, PR, Social Media and Copywriting experience is essential, as is creating effective and eye-catching written communications. Excellent communication skills, energy and enthusiasm are required to enable you to successfully build and develop networks and relationships.
