Our client requires a motivated and articulate Regional Research Manager to join an established and educational organisation. You will be responsible for supporting local market teams in their market research, ensuring best practice is followed and driving forwards studies to support claims.

The successful applicant will have experience of market research through previously working on behalf of a market agency/consultancy or consumer insight team. To work independently on multiple projects across the full project lifecycle, managing other team members, to work on own initiative, assessing priorities and work load, excellent communication skills, high attention to detail and have a strong "can do" attitude.

The role does require the candidate to be willing to travel internationally should this be needed.

Offer package:
Salary:GBP33,000 - GBP35,000 dependant on experience
Duration:Permanent
Hours:08:30 - 17:30, Monday to Friday

Responsibilities will include:
*Manage research projects and fostering best practice and a globally standardised approach to research
*Supporting the Head of Research in establishing a respected and authoritative global research function that acts as a true partner to key stakeholders and functions in the division
*Work closely with the research team to collate, plan and manage the local research pipeline ensuring locally-run research is aligned to divisional strategy
*Act as a consultant to stakeholders in local markets in defining research objectives and advising on the best research methodology
*Spot market trends worth investigating and recommend further research that can benefit the whole division as well as specific markets/regions
*Project-manage and undertake a number of Impact studies. When this is not feasible, provide support to staff enabling them to carry out an impact study themselves or commission a third party to do all or some of this on their behalf
*Manage and track the companies budget to ensure research is run efficiently and on budget. Review existing research processes and proactively look for ways of improving them
Create training materials and deliver training to colleagues across the world such that aspects of carrying out market research and Impact studies are explained clearly and enable colleagues to become more research literate and share best practice

Candidate specification:
*Educated to degree level or equivalent
*Experience of market research methods acquired through working for a market research agency/consultancy or client-side as part of the organisation's consumer insight team
*Experience working independently on multiple projects across the full project lifecycle
*Experience managing other team members (remote management experience would be a plus)
*An ability to work on own initiative, assessing priorities and work load appropriately, with no need for day-to-day supervision
*Excellent communication skills in English
*Interpersonal skills - strong ability to interact with a variety of people from different cultures and enable them to work collaboratively
*A strong 'can do' attitude and ability to think outside the box to solve problems
*High level of attention to detail and computer literacy
