My client is a creative manufacturing company based in Wiltshire who have a knack for being inventive with their products and ambitious with their plans.

This is a really exciting opportunity for a Production Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis and immediately make an impact on this highly successful business.

Essential:

Engineering background. Minimum apprenticeship in electrical/mechanical/production engineering roles. BTEC/HND upward with practical skills
Minimum 5 years' experience within a manufacturing engineering role within one/two companies of medium volume production >100 units per day or similar environment
Lead at least 2 New Production Introduction programs
Familiarity with lean manufacturing environments
Able to read and produce 2D & 3D CAD drawings in AutoCAD & SolidWorks

Preferred:

HND engineering/degree level with practical experience in a 'lean manufacturing' environment
Proven record of process improvement using lean manufacturing tools/techniques
Able to use project management tools - Microsoft projects
