We'd be delighted to hear from you if you have the following experience:
* Previous experience in traffic signal industry and proven track record for fault diagnosis.
* Experience of a wide range of equipment.

Role Profile:
* Part of the Southern Traffic Signal Maintenance teams for Reactive and Planned Maintenance - Primary areas: Southampton and Wiltshire contracts.
* Undertake all maintenance duties and extra to contract works.
* Reactive fault attendance and on a wide variety of telent and third party equipment.
* Planned Maintenance visits to defined schedules.
* Ensure contract timescales and performance levels/standards are met and exceeded.
* Operate out of hours 24/7 on a standby basis, likely on a 1 in 3 or 1 in 4 basis.
* Provide reports of equipment defeats to the customer.
* Assist Customer with identifying "replacement and refurbishment programmes".

Typical Deliverables:
* Fault fix to timescales/KPI's.
* Programmed maintenance to schedules.
* First time fix.
* Detailed investigations and report on complex faults.

Business Operations Skills - Qualifications:
* Suitable recognised electrical installation/electronics qualification.
* G39 approved
* Ideally Sector 8 accredited.

Behavioural Requirements:
* Must be flexible in approach, with a positive "can do" attitude.
* Able to work alone at times but also as part of a small team.
* Good external and internal communication skills and an ability to positively influence customers.
