Hours 8:30 – 5:30 (Mon – Thu) 8:30 – 2:00 (Fri)

We are looking for an experienced CNC Programmer (Macro) to join the friendly team of a growing organisation who are shortly to move to customised premises on Foxhills Industrial Estate. As the CNC Programmer your main purpose will be to assist and work with the current tooling engineers, ensuring high quality output of programs. Office based, and working with automated systems, the CNC Programmer will have a passion for analysing and planning. This is a truly exciting opportunity for an experienced CNC Programmer/Parametric Programmer to join our prestigious client, full and on-going training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities – CNC Programmer (Macro):

• Generation of new product Macro's
• Maintain existing Macro's by correcting issues and updating the formulas and codes to suit revised hardware rules
• Add new hardware options to the Macro, including additional parts (reinforcers and spacers)
• Document control
• Promote good working practices in line with business standards
• At all times promote and address the company's Health and Safety Policy

Personal Specification – CNC Macro Programmer:

• Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Office)
• Knowledge of manual programming techniques (Basic or C), including procedures, sub-routines and functions
• Good understanding of basic XML files
• Good Excel skills
• Knowledge of Algebra and Formulas
• Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
• Knowledge of Radan is desirable but not essential
• Ability to read technical drawings desirable
