BS Social Care in Hammersmith is looking for a Support Worker who can match our passion for delivering fantastic service to our client based in Reading. The candidate must have experience providing support to adults with Learning disabilities and challenging behaviours in a semi independent setting.

You will be providing personal care and supporting, advising and helping adults with learning disabilities. Your main aim is to help these people to build and develop independent living skills. In doing so you will be helping with shopping, budgeting, meal planning, completion of forms as well as engaging service users in social and community based activities.

Minimum 12 months care experience or 6 months with a Social care NVQ

You can expect to receive an average wage of £8 p/h depending on experience, with the potential of the wage moving up over time. The role will be offered to you on a temporary basis, so your flexibility and availability is crucial. Availability for you to do occasional waking nights will also be required.
