Trade Plate Driver

G4 Vehicle Logistics is looking for experienced and reliable self employed Trade Plate drivers

The Role

Daily duties of the role will involve the collection and drop off of vehicles upto 3.5t from various locations, throughout the UK

• The role will involve working unsociable, long hours
• Drivers are required to be smartly presented at all times well organised and able to demonstrate a commitment to the demands of the busy role
• We expect our drivers to operate safely, ensuring that they drive legally and in line with the current legislation at all times
• Good time management is essential to ensure that you can be at your required destinations in good time and meet the daily schedule of vehicle movements
• Driver will also be expected to complete a vehicle evaluation form for each and every movement made.
• A good knowledge of using smart phones / tablets will be necessary for this role

Working Hours

Hours of work / Monday to Friday:

• Driver would need to accommodate being at their first location for 08:00
• Working through the daily schedule of vehicle movements until the last planned collection is made
• Last vehicle collected can be used for onward journey home and will be the first vehicle delivered the following working day

Rate of Pay

Drivers are paid weekly, a week in hand

Rate is GBP20 per delivered car upto 80 miles

Rate is 25 ppm over 80 miles

Additional Information

Successful applicants will be over 25 and have a maximum of 6 points on their licence, and will not have been banned in the last 5 years. Previous experience working as a trade plate driver is preferred.
