Job Description LOCATION: South Luffenham, Near Stamford
JOB TITLE: Production Operative
SALARY & BENEFITS: GBP8.14 per hour + 20% shift allowance (if selected to move on to shifts after probation) + 23 days holiday + bank holiday + on-site car parking + company progression
WORKING HOURS: To start Monday - Friday 8am - 4pm then as you become fully trained you may move onto an alternating shift pattern (0 Mon-Fri, then the following week, 1400 - Midnight Mon- Thurs)
THE COMPANY: We are currently working with a leading supplier of thermoformed, polyurethane and composite engineered polymer solutions for the automotive, leisure and speciality industries. Due to continued success they are now looking to recruit for Production Operatives to join the team in South Luffenham near Stamford.
THE ROLE: As a Production Operative you will be working across a number of production departments. You will report to your supervisor and produce goods in a timely manner.
Key Responsibilities for the Production Operative role to include:-
• Ensure Health and Safety standards are met
• Have a high attention to detail
• Have the ability to work on your own
• Work towards time frames
• Manual handling
THE CANDIDATE: The successful candidate will need to be punctual and willing to learn throughout their career. You will need to have a good level of English written and spoken as you will need to follow both written and verbal instructions. It is desirable that you have experience using Thermoforming and/or CNC machines or worked within a similar position, however full training will be given to all successful applicants.
Key experience essential for the role of the Production Operative:-
• Full UK Driving licence and access to your own vehicle due to the factory not having any public transport links
• Fit & Healthy as some heavy lifting will be required
• Live within a commutable distance to South Luffenham, Near Stamford
