Chartered Building Surveyor (Commercial)

Lunatus Resourcing are pleased to be partnering with a Property Consultancy based in Oxfordshire who are currently looking to recruit a Commercial Building Surveyor into what is a newly created role. This is an exciting opportunity for a chartered surveying professional to join a growing area of the business and one that offers future development within the business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act in the best interest of the business and its clients adhering to RICS code of conduct
• Work on a range of projects throughout the region, preparing Audits, surveys, reports, schedules of condition.
• Review and submit specifications and contract tender documentation, liaising with all relevant parties.
• Assist business growth by highlighting marketplace changes, understanding the divisional business strategy and identifying new business opportunities.
• Ensure client deadlines and targets are met achieving agreed service standards, managing regular communication with both clients and internal colleagues ensuring terms of business are agreed.
• Take responsibility for the financial aspect of your area, proactively ensuring invoices are raised and outstanding payments are followed up and paid in a timely manner.
• Continually seek self-development and knowledge share / network with colleagues to maximise own knowledge and skill set across the wider business.

Key requirements:

• Chartered MRICS (Ideally APC complete)
• Relevant RICS accredited qualification in Building surveying or equivalent
• Commercial surveying experience, with an understanding of the market and a hunger for knowing about market changes
• Exceptional client care skills that have previously led to successful business delivery / growth in a previous role
• An experienced surveyor who can identify business opportunities, has proven ability to deliver in the Commercial surveying environment
