LOROS Hospice is a local charity and every year we care for over 2,500 people across Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland. We deliver free, high-quality, compassionate care and support to terminally ill patients, their family and carers.
Legacy Officer
22.5 hours per week
Salary range £21,263 to £22,683 per annum pro rata
(depending on experience)
As Legacy Officer you will be responsible for the administration of legacy income, this will include maintaining records of all legacies notified to LOROS as received or receivable, ensuring money expected is received and liaising with solicitors and executors to ensure all documentation is received.
Experience of managing legacy administration is essential as is accuracy, numeracy, attention to detail and communication skills both written and oral. In addition you should be proficient in Microsoft office packages and familiar with databases is desirable.
