Teacher of Textiles Technology / Textiles Technician

SENIOR SCHOOL [13-18]

From September 2018, Cheltenham College is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic teacher to join a highly successful department.  Initially, this is a 0.6 post combining teaching and technical support, though there is an opportunity to develop the position into a full-time role: the appointee will be responsible for teaching a 0.3 timetable of Textiles Technology across the 13-18 age range, whilst supporting the Head of Textiles Technology in preparing resources.

The Design Technology Department has four full-time teaching staff, and one additional technician, and offers GCSE and AS/A2 courses in Resistant Materials and Textiles Technology.

Applicants must be willing to contribute to the pastoral and extra-curricular life of a busy boarding school. The College has its own salary scale.
