Job Title: Channel Development Manager
Experience required: Telecoms Sales / Channel or Direct

There is now a requirement for a Channel Development Manager to lead and guide the Partner Services Team. This pivotal role reports into the MD and contributes to the success of the company by ensuring its Reseller Channel expands and all partnership initiatives remain profitable, maximising potential from sales opportunities arising from reseller/dealer partnerships generating new revenue streams and adding value to the company's bottom line.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in Telecoms Sales either direct or via the Channel. You will be passionate about your field of expertise, a natural communicator, a motivated self-starter, team focused, flexible and adaptable, able to work well unsupervised with excellent time management ethos, an excellent networker, display professionalism and credibility dealing with external clients and contacts.

Job Overview

To manage the company's overall relationship with reseller/dealer partners, educating, promoting and sharing best practice with them. To increase sales and revenue generation opportunities both with existing partners and new business, maintaining effective lines of communication internally and externally. Actively contribute to the company's Telecom's commitment to continuous improvement both at individual, team and company level.

Key Responsibilities

*Lead the development and effectiveness of the reseller/dealer partnerships in line with agreed business plan/specific targets.
*Pro-actively recruit new resellers with existing NGN Traffic.
*Proactively seek and tender for new contracts with large organisations
*Develop/co-ordinate effective activities and communication to partners and internally within the company in relation to partnership development.
*Manage and co-ordinate the introduction of new company products and support services to reseller/dealer partners to agreed timescales.
*Maximise all PR opportunities in relation to company reseller/dealer partnerships.
*Make regular visits to reseller /dealer partners, co-ordinate all training activity in-house and on-site.
*Work with reseller /dealer partners to effectively promote and sell on company products and services to their clients' local markets.
*Work with reseller /dealer partners to create sales plans to create future additional revenue streams for the company
*Work with reseller /dealer partners to create market opportunities and analysis of plans, advise on how they can serve specific client groups.
*Track, analyse and make recommendations regarding pricing, as well as placement of company products.
* Manage possible conflicts between reseller/dealer partners and company's sales function.
*Maintain awareness and knowledge of marketplace and telecommunications sector relevant to role purpose.
*Maintaining records, systems and controls to maximise efficiency and effective dissemination of information.
