Red-on-line is a software company that deploys EHS compliance management systems to clients around the world. We are looking for an Account Manager to operate from the UK and manage a portfolio of assigned customers, implement signed contracts at a national and international level, and create long-term, trusting relationships with them.

What does an Account Manager do?

The major part of the job consists in implementing our EHS solutions to client's facilities by using our deployment process in a timely and successful manner.

After the deployment, account manager responsibilities include developing strong relationships with customers, connecting with key business executives and stakeholders. The Account Manager will answer client queries, understand and anticipate their needs, and become a proactive and highly trustable partner. You must identify new business opportunities among existing customers. In this role, you will liaise with cross-functional internal teams (including Customer Service and Product Development departments) to improve the entire customer experience. This position may require occasional travel. Strong knowledge of ESH and / or industry sector is a prerequisite.

Responsibilities

  • Daily monitoring of sites to ensure completion and follow-up on all aspects of the deployment process
  • Assist in coordinating schedules of field work required for completion of the project
  • Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives
  • Collaborate with partner companies and internal teams to deliver high quality results in a timely manner
  • Clearly communicate the progress of weekly/monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders
  • Serve as the lead point of contact for all customer account management matters
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships
  • Develop trusted advisor relationships
  • Work as a team with the Country Manager to maintain and monitor business operations, including:
  • Forecast and track key account metrics (e.g. quarterly sales results and annual forecasts, client satisfaction / tools acceptation level)
  • Prepare reports on the status of all accounts subject to deployment in the UK
  • Collaborate with sales team to identify and grow opportunities within the UK
  • Assist with challenging client requests or issue escalations as needed

Requirements

  • Environmental, Health and Safety regulatory knowledge
  • Proficient in the use of Excel, Microsoft Word, and Outlook
  • Proven work experience as Project Manager, Junior Account Manager or relevant role
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate in professional settings
  • Demonstrated ability to make a positive contribution in a team setting
  • Experience delivering client-focused solutions to customer needs
  • Proven ability to juggle multiple deployment projects at a time, while maintaining sharp attention to detail
  • Excellent listening and presentation abilities
  • Strong English verbal and written communication skills
  • Lots of time on the phone
  • Occasional travel within Europe

The following skills and abilities are not required, but desirable:

  • Knowledge of, or exposure to, international cultures and teams
  • An ability to work unpredictable or extended hours to respond to the needs of people in other time zones. Possible range of times is 6:00 AM to 10:00 PM.
  • Spanish and or French is a plus
