Quality Control Analyst

Contract Type: Permanent

Salary: £18-22,000.

Job Elements: -

·The QC Department has the responsibility for the GMP testing of all materials used on site, and all finished products manufactured, the upkeep of all quality control related documentation and procedures, providing assistance to other departments when required, and the development and validation of test methods.

·To assist in preparation of technical documentation within the Department, as required. 

·To ensure that all work carried out complies with departmental procedures and is cGMP compliant. 

·To communicate effectively with others on site and to assist with departmental problem solving as required.

The ideal candidate will have:

·Hold a degree in Chemistry or pharmaceutical science or closely related discipline.

·Be self-motivated

·Methodical, organised and have an excellent attention to detail.

·Able to work both in a team & independently

·Good communication skills are essential as role requires the organisation and co-ordination of work with other departments.

·Preferably have experience in carrying out analysis in a Pharmaceutical or ISO17025 accredited laboratory using HPLC, GC, ICP and wet chemistry.
