Assistant Management Accountant (Finance Graduate)

Our Client is a global leader in stainless steel with a crude stainless steel capacity of 3.1 million tonnes. They create advanced materials that are efficient, long lasting and recyclable – helping to build a world that lasts forever.

They are looking for an assistant management accountant to join the Long Products business area with an annual turnover of €500m, providing direct support to Financial Controller of the SMACC and also the CFO of the business area. Key result areas will include ensuring the integrity of sales and profitability reporting, working with key stakeholders within business units to share best practice and to improve the accuracy and effectiveness of the monthly reporting.

Within the role you will assist in overall AR and AP ledger control, to include credit control, debt factoring, invoice approval and payments. Assisting with the internal treasury issues and with the production of Management Accounts, including cost of sales consumption journals, accruals for costs and other reports for management, you will produce cash flow plans and KPI reports.

This role would be ideally suited to a graduate with a Business or Finance related degree, or with training in accountancy. A proficient user of Microsoft Office, particularly in Excel, you will ideally have SAP experience, but this is not essential.

A team player, you will be an excellent communicator and will have a good attention to detail.
