Cabinet Maker
Our client is a Joinery contractor that is now looking for a suitable candidate to fill their current vacancy of Experienced Cabinet Maker to work for a bespoke furniture manufacturer in Surrey.
They provide beautiful handmade bespoke furniture to developers and designers as well as private clients. They create a whole range of furniture from entertainment centres to wardrobes to intricate fitted shelves and storage systems, to entire bathrooms and bespoke kitchens.
Using only the highest quality woods and finishes, they have a team of specialists in making, fitting and painting. They are committed to provide a quality service with minimum of disruption of the client.
Essential Criteria
Ideally, you should have a minimum of 5 years joinery experience and sound health and safety awareness.
You should have your own tools.
Responsible for developing component parts of a product out of wood.
As a Cabinet Maker, you should also have an understanding of CAD drawings.
You will be responsible for making bespoke joinery items such as wardrobes, cupboards, kitchens and studies from CAD drawings using dim saws, spindles, etc.
Desirable Criteria
Multi-tasking, self-motivated, energetic team player with a flexible and adaptable approach to work.
Have good practical organisation skills, planning of resources and programme scheduling.
Communicator & motivator with ability to communicate across all levels of seniority from the workface through to Senior Management level.
Have excellent knowledge and experience within the industry at a senior level.
Be a real team player, with an abundance of passion, loyalty and honesty, who enjoys working as part of a team.
