The Role:

 Join us as Motoring Communications Executive and you’ll be working at the heart of the nation’s oldest and most prestigious motoring organisation. Your key responsibilities will include attending the Club’s motoring events and providing reports for use in member communications as well as creating and uploading content for the motoring section of the Club’s website and other member communications, such as the Motoring Bulletin and the news section of the Club’s magazine. Your role will include:

• Drafting content for materials such as event programmes, promotional literature, internal reports and annual publications.
• Assisting external motoring partners with digital or print content.
• Working with our Heritage Manager to draft content to support the increased use of the Motor House at Woodcote Park.
• Posting material on the Club’s motoring social media sites and developing their reach.

The Person:
To succeed in this key role, you will need to demonstrate a passion for motoring in all its forms, in addition to excellent writing, organisational and interpersonal skills. It is very likely that you will have worked for some years as a motoring journalist and it would be helpful if you have gained some experience of publishing to a website using a content management system. You must also have a keen eye for detail and the ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a team.
