The School

The Role
For September 2018, we are seeking a well-qualified, highly motivated and innovative Teacher of English on a temporary, full time maternity contract to work within our talented and successful English team, preferably with experience of teaching A Level English Literature.
We hope to appoint someone who is ambitious and as committed to creative and compelling teaching as we are.
This role is suited for an NQT or more experienced teacher.
The successful candidate will:
- be a strong classroom teacher
- be able to demonstrate commitment to quality of teaching and learning across all 3 key stages
- be able to enthuse, engage and motivate students
- be a strong team player
- will preferably have experience and an interest in teaching A level English Literature although this is not a requirement
- be willing to be involved in the extra-curricular life of the school
