Full-time, 37 hours per week all year round

Salary: £17,419 - £22,658 (VTG6-VTG8) per annum + Health Care Cash Plan and Benefits Package

Venturers Trust is a new Multi Academy Trust based in Bristol formed through the merger of CGS Trust and Merchants’ Academy Trust in September 2017. Comprising Primary, Secondary, all-age schools and a Special school the Trust has 3,200 pupils and 700 staff.

The Trust is sponsored by the Society of Merchant Venturers and the University of Bristol. Both sponsors seek to ensure that all our young people receive a truly inspiring education. Their support, challenge and expertise are greatly valued.

Venturers Trust is currently recruiting for conscientious caretakers to join our team. We require practical, positive and energetic people who would take pride in maintaining our schools. We have 2 roles, one will be based at Colston's Girls' School working across The Dolphin School and Fairlawn Primary School. The other will be based at Merchants' Academy working across Merchants' Academy and Venturers' Academy.You will play an integral part of the Trust's Estates team and assist in ensuring that the environment (inside and out) is safe, well maintained and meets Health and Safety requirements. Duties will include security, general maintenance, cleaning of designated areas and ensuring the safety, good order and tidiness of the school site.
