Within that structure, HR Operations is Prudential UK's shared services operation based in Stirling under the Corporate Services. Building from its original mission to provide high quality people services to the UK business, HR Operations now partners with Prudential Group, offering a range of added-value services.
HR Operations manages multiple change projects concurrently, with varying degrees of complexity and size, and this role will be key in ensuring that projects run smoothly and complete on time and budget, whilst supporting process and service improvement initiatives, striving for increased efficiency and a superior level of service.
The role, initially a secondment opportunity, will primarily support the HR Systems Consultant, reporting to the Head of HR Operations, on various projects and activities which impact HR and the wider Group companies.
The role holder should possess experience of working in a project management or change environment, be comfortable with working with large volumes of data and management information, and adaptable and flexible to engage with teams throughout HR and IT both face to face and remotely.
Purpose of the role:
- Support the end to end delivery of new projects which impact HR systems and processes including service improvement initiatives, ensuring that projects produce the required deliverables to the agreed quality, time and cost constraints
- Support the end to end delivery of HR system upgrades, including engagement with key stakeholders to ensure new system capabilities are understood, documented, tested and trained in to business as usual
- Support the production of system development requirements and testing plans to ensure new system capabilities are well integrated
- Participate and lead where necessary on key project activity in HR Operations - PruChoice, Salary & Bonus

Essential
Experience
- Experience using PeopleSoft HR or > a similar HR system
- Some experience of working within a MI, Change or IT systems environment
- Some experience of HR processes and applications
- Experience of problem analysis and developing improvement solutions
- Some experience of project management or co-ordination techniques
- Some experience of control and reporting for projects/programmes
- Some experience of HR administration/processes and principles
- Some experience of Management Information presentation and production
Knowledge
- Working knowledge of project methodologies, planning processes and techniques
- Working knowledge of project constraints and complexity
- Working knowledge of risk management principles and their impacts on projects
- Working knowledge of Access and Excel capabilities
- Working knowledge of financial services regulator and legislatory frameworks
- Understanding of the Statements of Principle and Code of Practice
