ABOUT OUR SCHOOL

The Bridge School is a KS3 and KS4 Pupil Referral Unit for students who have been excluded from Mainstream High Schools or who are at risk of exclusion.  Our learning offer includes a broad and balanced curriculum with a focus on the core academic subjects English, Maths and Science.

The Vocational Centre will further broaden our offer and provide a distinctive curriculum designed to engage KS4 learners who require a more practical learning pathway or who may benefit from alternative learning arrangements.  Many of our students experience Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs and often present with some additional needs and barriers to learning.

A secure knowledge and understanding of Level 1 / 2 courses, and the ability to accurately assess to ensure that the highest possible standards of learner achievement are met is essential.

You will be delivering to small groups of learners, but due to challenging needs and behaviours you will be required to contribute to the management of learner behaviour, displaying a high level of professionalism conducive to a school environment.
