Are you an experienced Vehicle Technician?
An outstanding, fast-paced workshop are seeking a new member to join their team. This is a remarkable opportunity for a Technician living with the Gravesend areas seeking a new opportunity.
Joining this company, renowned for its ability for progression, can offer you an ample amount of training and development, something any hard-working Technician would be privileged to have.
In this role, you will be responsible for the following
* Accurately completing services, diagnostics, mechanical and electrical repairs and making sure this is done in line with the dealerships and manufactures standards
* Updating customer records by correctly recording all services and repairs that have been carried out and completed within the workshop
* Communicating effectively with customers to update them with any problems or delays that may have been noticed during the repair
* Supporting the Service Advisors in working out of the estimated time and cost for repairs to vehicles
* Assisting in the checking of stock levels and ordering any parts if required
* Helping the other Technicians, when required, within the workshop to ensure productivity and efficiency targets are being met
* Ensuring effective using of any diagnostic tools and equipment in the workshop
* Liaising with the Workshop Controller, Service Manager and Service Advisors on site in regards to the status of any work going ahead
* Road testing vehicles and ensuring the service has been completed to company standards
* Prepping vehicles for pickup which will include cleaning, washing and painting
* Undertaking any work requested by the Workshop Manager or Service Manager
* Complying with all health and safety standards as well as company policies and procedures
What are we looking for from you?
* Qualified with NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance Repair and Maintains or equivalent
* Full UK Driving Licence
* The ability to work well within a team and without supervision
* Strong communication skills when dealing with other members of staff
* Driven and committed to delivering the highest standard of customer service
* Good and up to date automotive knowledge
* The ability to work a Saturday morning on a rota
What will you be rewarded with?
A basic salary ranging between GBP25,000 - GBP27,000 + GBP29,000 - GBP31,500 OTE
