Role: Mobile Vehicle Technician
Location: Varied (Must live in a 10 mile radius of Crawley)
Working Hours: Mon - Fri 08:00-16:00
Duration: Permanent
Salary: GBP24,000 per annum

To conduct motor vehicle service, maintenance and repairs for internal and external customers. The Mobile Service Engineer shall undertake service maintenance duties for a specified geographical that may change from time to time and at locations agreed by the customer.
The Mobile Service Engineer is a pivotal role in delivering a positive customer experience at all times.
Job Duties
•Providing on-site and mobile service and remedial work support for Customer vehicles and equipment
•Utilise feedback to improve future repair and diagnostic activities
•To help develop customer service standards, policies and procedures
•To provide service from time to time, outside normal working hours
•Carry out other duties which may or may not be related to the job, as reasonably requested by management
•Complete the necessary documentation associated with work completed
•Keep company provided equipment in good serviceable condition
•Always adhere to strict Health, Safety & Environmental Policies / Regulations when performing work
•Work flexibly to cover workload
Skills Required
The skills & experience you need
•City & Guilds/NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair Principles or equivalent
•Must have strong service & repair experience
•Proficient fault finding / diagnostic skills
•Computer literate and able to operate Windows based programs
•A high level of accuracy and attention to detail
•Must be able to communicate both verbally and in writing at all levels
•Good customer facing skills
•Ability to plan and prioritise effectively and work within tight deadlines
•Ability to remain calm under pressure
•Must be able to work safely unsupervised and use own initiative
Personal Qualities:
oQualified to a minimum NVQ level 2 (Automotive Maintenance) or equivalent
oSelf-motivated
oStrong work ethic
oFlexible and open to change
oA willingness to meet/exceed customer expectations
oWillingness and ability to travel
oClean and tidy appearance
